Leather Butterfly Chair
Comfortable, portable and authentic, our safari-inspired Leather Butterfly Chair makes a versatile choice. This iconic chair was originally designed in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1938 by the architects Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan and Jorge Ferrari Hardoy,[2][3][4] who were working with Le Corbusier's studio, and who formed the architectural collective Grupo Austral in Buenos Aires.[5] The chair was developed for an apartment building they designed in Buenos Aires.
Sporting a gunmetal-finished metal frame and supple, top-grain Italian leather sling in a rich camel color, it's finished with reinforced corners and double-stitch threading.
The classic leather butterfly chair is made one at at time, hand cut and sewn with a coarse, heavy-duty thread.
Perfect for adding a new look to any room in your home, this chair is compact and comfortable.
Dimensions; 74cm at widest point at top of chair, 97cm high and 60cm wide at seat.
